Using Royal Mail & In-Store Collection**

We aim to deliver your contact lenses, glasses, and eyewear accessories quickly and securely. All orders are dispatched from the UK and shipped via Royal Mail, unless otherwise specified.


1. Processing Times

  • Contact lenses: Usually dispatched within 1–2 working days (subject to prescription verification and stock availability).

  • Spectacle frames / prescription glasses: Dispatched within 3–7 working days, depending on lens type and coatings.

  • Orders placed after 3pm are processed the next working day.

  • No dispatches occur on weekends or bank holidays.


2. Shipping Options (Royal Mail)

Below are the standard Royal Mail services and typical charges. Prices may vary depending on weight and size.


Royal Mail 2nd Class (Economy)

  • Delivery time: 2–4 working days

  • Cost: £2.99

  • Suitable for non-urgent orders and small items.


Royal Mail 1st Class

  • Delivery time: 1–2 working days

  • Cost: £3.99


Royal Mail Tracked 24

  • Delivery time: Next working day (not guaranteed)

  • Includes: Full tracking & delivery updates

  • Cost: £5.49


Royal Mail Tracked 48

  • Delivery time: 2 working days

  • Includes: Full tracking & delivery notification

  • Cost: £4.49


Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm

  • Delivery time: Next working day, guaranteed

  • Includes: Tracking, insurance, and signature

  • Cost: From £7.95 (depending on item weight)

Special Delivery is recommended for high-value items such as prescription glasses.


4. Click & Collect / Pick Up In Store

You may choose to collect your order directly from our practice.

How it works:

  • Select “Pick Up In Store” at checkout.

  • You’ll receive an email once your order is ready.

  • Contact lenses are usually ready within 1–2 working days.

  • Prescription glasses may take 3–7 working days, depending on lens requirements.

Cost:

Free of charge.

Please bring your order confirmation and photo ID when collecting.


5. Delivery Restrictions

  • We currently deliver within the UK only.

  • We cannot ship contact lenses or glasses to P.O. Boxes.

  • Remote postcodes (e.g., Highlands, Islands) may require longer delivery times.


6. Delivery Delays

Royal Mail delivery estimates are not guaranteed (except Special Delivery).
Delays may occur due to:

  • Royal Mail strikes

  • Severe weather

  • Seasonal volumes

  • Address errors

If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us.


7. Missing, Damaged, or Incorrect Deliveries

If your parcel arrives damaged, incorrect, or does not arrive:

  • Notify us within 3 working days of delivery (or expected delivery date).

  • Keep the outer packaging in case Royal Mail requires inspection.

We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.


8. Tracking Information

Tracking is available for Tracked 24, Tracked 48, and Special Delivery services.
You will receive a tracking link once your order has shipped.
